Guangzhou China - A Historic City

Guangzhou is the South Gate of China which is popular political, economic and cultural centre. It is also known as Sui and Yang Cheng. It is located in the middle south of the Guangdong Province close to the South China Sea, Hong Kong and Macau. If we check into the history of Guangzhou, it has been ruled by three Chinese dynasties- the Nan Yue, the Nan Han and the Nan Ming. As the city is very closely located to the South China Sea, its location provided a great financial boost to the city.

Apart from being financially important city, Guangzhou is also well-known historic city. The historical culture of the city has been attracting many tourists every year. Some of the historic sights that you can visit are the Western Han Nanyue King’s Tomb Museum, the Zhenhai Tower and the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.
